Included screw was not proper

Taking the high price into consideration, one does not expect a DIY kit. The fixing screw was first too long, but after cutting it back by 3mm, the threadless distance keeping neck was too thick, so a 1mm thick washer had to be added under the screw to fix the rod on on the butt plate. Without proper tools and washers at hime, could not assemble the rod. i suppose that the screw was not the original one, or the set I received was not intended to be used with Walther LG400’s MEC butt plate, but another gun, so compatibility was not properly described.
