4 from 5 Well-made but wrist opening is too tight

I have medium-size hands, about 21cm across my knuckles (size 8.5-9 with Fratelli Orsini driving gloves). This Anschütz glove provides correct fitting for my fingers and knuckles but the opening at the wrist is uncomfortably tight when I put my hand in. Its fine when shooting but the wrist opening is so tight that it can be almost impossible to remove my hand. This is due to the elastic band being too strong.

So I had to remove about 3/5 of the elastic bands width to weaken it so I could insert and remove my hand without crazy effort. Otherwise the glove is well-made and works well. IMO, theres no reason to have such a strong wrist band as ISSF rifle shooting does not involve any pulling of the glove its never at risk of coming off. I used an open wrist NRA glove and a Walther UIT glove 50 years ago and neither had tight wrist junctions. FWIW, I have a Large size modern ISSF-legal open finger glove from Pakistan almost identical to this Medium-size Anschütz glove. It had the same problem. I had to cut out all the top portion of synthetic liner at the wrist area before I could reliably remove the glove. I bought the Anschütz glove because it has a short thumb covering so I can use my thumb to grasp items, like pellets.
